After my experience as Crowd Marshall in Game of Thrones in Spain (Fresco Films), film director Gustavo Carballo (Meeneepeemer Films) chose Yellow Pictures for the shooting services for Pablo Alboran’s new music video “Pasos de cero”. This is the second single of his record “Terral” from the record label Warner Music.

The artist, leader in record sales in Spain, chose his hometown, Málaga, for his music video. An stunning location as the Balneario (ancient Spa). After considering both Frigiliana and Balneario, the director and the record label opted for the second one.

The first shooting day happened in two private houses with different love situations among six couples. The second day was located at the Balneario: a casual meeting with friends where Pablo burst into with all his naturalness and his guitar tunning his brand new single. One by one, the musicians joined the jam sesión until it becomes a great party with the public.

Besides the director, Gustavo Carballo, it should be pointed out the figure of our Director of Photography, Alberto D Centeno and the colaboration of Malaga Film Office…And of course the proximity and spontaneity of Pablo. He literally greeted one by one the 70 people gathered at the Balneario and he kept a super natural mood with the background artists, talking and kidding…and keeping the energy up.

As Head of Production and Location Manager in this Project the experience has been awesome. I was calm because the production was in good hands with a very professional crew. We tried that the production was unnoticed due to the security of the artist. That was my main concern, an invasion of fanatics in the middle of the shooting. We set up a security system with all the help of Jose Luis from Balneario and Rafa , the personal bodyguard of Pablo. Everything was perfect and there was no problem at all.

A production that tried to be unnoticed those days but later on couldn’t make it:
